PERSON.

The name's Daniel. Me thinks that the 4th of December is the best day in the whole year so everyone should definitely celebrate it. Chocolates are a must. Music makes the world go round and me likes to sing my throat off. Oh and, when life gives you lemons, give them to me, yeah?

RAMBLE.

ohh. this is my 37th post.
and i felt that this was a mandatory post.
so you'll see more posts on campus superstar.
after the shows, of course.

okays.
so the show just now.
it was all like mediocre performances.
is this really what singaporean teenagers can offer.
not really much.
this really shows.
that singapore cant make it big in the music industry.

oops.
im insulting singapore.
hahhs.
anyways.
only one voice stood out for me tonight.
which was the small kid.
i forgot his name.
shawn ?
anyways. his voice was great.
as in.
if he doesnt get through to the top 10 or something.
(i can only say top 10 cause i've only watched the first 10)
singaporeans are plain deaf.
sorry but i have to say this.
and such a big voice.
coming out from a small frame.
somehow it doesnt feel right.
because in this industry.
image plays a big part.
especially if ure in singapore.

i mean, honestly.
look at the people in the top 20.
they all have pretty good mugs.
and who knows.
there could have been some really ugly person.
who had such a great voice.
but couldnt make the cut because of how they look.
YOU NEVER KNOW.

anyways.
back to my point.
the little guy has a really good voice.
and i dont think the judges gave him a high enough score.
oh and his voice is kinda deep for a thirteen year old.
i wonder if his voice broke yet.
if it has then it has broken nicely. (if there is such a thing)
but if it hasnt, then his voice will sound really weird real deep.
i think it has broken.
and he's old anyways.
as in.
born in january.

that was the complimenting part.
now's the insulting part.
the girls. hmms.
the first four took on slow songs.
and were really boring.
and the last one sang a fast song.
and she sounded out of breath.
i think.
and the guys.
did worse than the girls.

the first guy.
erm marcus i think.
the guy from RI.
tried to sing 'wo ke yi'
and when he was changing to fake voice.
he hesitated awhile before singing.
and it happened everytime he was about to change to fake voice.
and the judges gave him a high score.
i was like. "WTH"
then the other guys.
when they sang.
there wasnt any. ermm.
soul? flair? flavour?
it was just plain boring.
yes, that was it.
and judging from tonight's performance.
i really hope the small guy wins.

anyways.
since im insulting singaporean shows.
might as well talk about tomorrow's new show.
as in.
the spell cast.
when i saw it i was like.
'oh cool. singapore has a spelling bee thing'
then i saw the words.
and i was like.
THEY'RE TWELVE YEARS OLD.
NOT NINE.
okay, maybe im exagerrating a little.
okay, maybe a lot.
but words like mississippi?
come on, we all know that.
like " m i double s i double s i double p i"
thats how you spell it already.
and i saw words like arithmetic and diabolical.
i could spell that when i was 8.

so again.
the main point is.
singaporean shows aren't very.
hmms. whats the word.
they dont have ' xi ying li'
thats in chinese.
so im telling you, producers and directors.
or anybody who might influence the shows.
make them more exciting.
or you might lose some viewers.
