PERSON.

The name's Daniel. Me thinks that the 4th of December is the best day in the whole year so everyone should definitely celebrate it. Chocolates are a must. Music makes the world go round and me likes to sing my throat off. Oh and, when life gives you lemons, give them to me, yeah?

RAMBLE.

I haven't updated in a week, lol.

So anyway, updates for this week are that I haven't finished my holiday homework yet. I'm trying to do the Calculus worksheet now (I know it's really late but whatever). I still have the whole bunch of Chinese homework which I really don't want to touch, especially since she keeps disturbing me during her lesson and accusing me of talking to Bernard and not listening to her. Which is what I actually do, but still, it's freaking annoying. Someone please go tape her mouth.

Went bowling with ChinChye on wednesday and my score is just still really stuck at that 120+ average. He won me in like three of the four games that we played -.- But his average isn't that much higher anyway, so.

On friday, after I jumped over the hurdle during PE, I kind of landed really badly cause my feet are practically useless so basically, my right foot landed on the toes and bent forward. So my sole was facing upwards. The first word that came into my mind was SHIT cause I could basically feel my ankle swelling real badly (it's a funny sight) and I hopped my way to the seat. Hah. Oh sorry Hadley cause he was right behind me and he almost tripped over me, I think. Well, at least he didn't step on my foot or something. Ms See spotted me and walked over to me then she told me that I definitely sprained my ankle cause it was swelling. Then she went to take some liquid thing and some gauze and cleaned the wound on my knees. I didn't really care about the bleeding knee cause that's not the first time but the stupid ankle was really hurting really bad. Thanks Ms See.

Oh and thanks Hadley and JieJun for staying with me to wait for my mum even though there was an ulterior motive cause you two didn't really want to go for geog? Lol but I know you're nice okay okay. I guess I'm supposed to say thanks to Jerald for wanting to stay with me just cause you wanted to skip lit? O.o

Anyway, now I stand like a flamingo and move like a rabbit. A one-legged rabbit. Just great. Bernard thinks I'm looking like Tigger. Lol. It really sucks and now it's turning blue-black? Something like that. I keep taking the pain reliever pills cause my ankle hurts really bad. I think I might get addicted O.O

Nah.

I'm sorry YOU can't be perfect.

Yesterday was my sister's birthday. Woohoo Happy Birthday. She's seventeen and I'm bloody fifteen -.-

Anyway, I don't really feel like blogging but I still felt like blogging. I've tons of homework left undone and the only thing I touched was Reader's Digest because I had fun doing it. Yes, I thought it was fun doing Reader's Digest and I don't care what y'all think.

I was deleting old messages from my phone and I saw some of Elaine's messages and she writes "Strive On!" even in smses. Without the smiley, of course. Creepy. And she writes in perfect English (unlike Joy) and I can practically imagine the way she speaks in my head. Plus, I talked to a junior and he told me about a conversation he had with Joel.

- a wank a day, keeps the woody at bay says: OH.
- a wank a day, keeps the woody at bay says: SPEAKING OF JOEL CHAN
- a wank a day, keeps the woody at bay says: i was like
- a wank a day, keeps the woody at bay says: hey mr chan, you know theres this daniel guy in your class right?

[ DAN!EL ] says: EH WAHLAO
- a wank a day, keeps the woody at bay says: and he was like, yeah, why? i think hes a very good kid
- a wank a day, keeps the woody at bay says: OMG.

[ DAN!EL ] says: LOLLLLLLLLLL
- a wank a day, keeps the woody at bay says: YOU SEE!!
- a wank a day, keeps the woody at bay says: HES SO NICE TO YOU HAHAHA

I had a laughing fit after he told me this. Oh don't mind my junior's stupid display message. Tsk. Kids nowadays.

I need to start on my homework already. Dang.

Fine.

Since Tan Siew Kiang feels that I'm not updating regularly then I'm here. Lol.

Monday
Obviously, I didn't do anything at all. Except my mum kept forcing me to clean my room because my cousin was coming to stay with me -.- We took the MRT and I just couldn't stand it.

1. My mum kept pestering me to go and sit beside her just because she doesn't want anyone to sit beside her but I continued standing.

2. There were these three teenagers/skaters with their skateboards and they sat in front of me on the floor -.- The guy was practically beside my feet. I felt enclosed.

3. One of the skaters (a girl, probably a poser) had these two friends sitting on the seats oppsite, and they kept gossiping about that skater girl with smiles on their faces. Wow. And I could hear them very clearly.

4. At one stop, this Indian man went to sit beside my mum and she immediately turned away and she looked so grossed out. Plus she had a scarf (yes, a scarf) and she literally tried to cover her nose with it in a subtle way. Racist.

Well, the rest of the things I couldn't stand are probably things that I myself can't stand. Lol. Oh plus the sky looked really cool like those werewolf movies where the entire sky is black except for the full moon and a few clouds around the moon. I tried to take a picture but I was in a cab and it kept turning. Oh I laughed at my mum cause the last train to Changi had already left and we had to take a cab, which was what she wanted to avoid in the first place.

I found out that WJP called my mum :D So she actually spoke in Mandarin, then my mum asked her to speak in English WAHAHAHAHA. According to my mum, WJP tried to tell her that I failed my Chinese. Lol. Urgh but my mum has short term memory too (I GOT IT FROM HER) so she forgot what else she said. She just remembers that WJP struggled to speak in English. LMAO. Oh and she called me "Dao Yi". Maybe she didn't know how to read "Daniel".

The budget terminal is not pretty. And it's quite bad how the budget terminal is totally separate from the main airport. It's as if they don't want it to spoil the good look of Changi Airport.

That's the whole Arrival Hall of the Budget Terminal. Horrible.

And that's the inside, which is really small too.

After they arrived, we went to Terminal 2 (I think) and ate Burger King (which I hate) because that was the only thing that was open. Dang. Thank god for Gloria Jean's though because Coffee Bean was weirdly deserted even though the counter was open and I needed something sweet.

Tuesday
I finished my Reader's Digest :O I can't believe it. And that's the only thing I touched.

Wednesday
Woke up quite late and immediately called JieJun cause there was still no concrete plan about going to Vivo. Apparently, the girls said that they don't feel like going already so I told JieJun that the two of us will just go there and do homework, and also ask ChinChye if he wants to join us. Then, a few minutes later, JieJun said that the girls want to go again -.-

So I brought my pile of homework there and reached Vivo at about 1.50 to eat lunch with JieJun. It was quite stupid because I didn't know that the MRT extends to Harbourfront Centre and I made JieJun walk out to the bus interchange and cross the overhead bridge to reach Harbourfront Centre. Well, he can't blame me either since his sense of direction is lousier than mine. And I don't frequent harbourfront that much.

We saw KFC and JieJun suggested that we eat there but I said I want to do homework too and Mac seems like a better place to do. Then we went downstairs and Mac was full -.- So we went back to KFC. Lol. JieJun bought the Snackers which were pathetically small and I was scolding him for wasting his money. Seriously, it's smaller than my pencil box -.- That's stupid. We ended up talking a lot because I kept asking him about the English workshop which sounded really fun. What the hell I wanted to go! He showed me the notes that she gave them and shits now so many people will be writing the same way that I write so I have to go research on new ways to write. Dang. In the end, all the homework I did was to write my name and "English TYS" on a piece of foolscap paper -.-

The girls (WeiQi, Eunice and SinYi) finally came and we went to Vivo to buy the tickets first but then we saw this National Geographic thing and we went to check it out. I thought it was something really interesting but it was more like a shop for them to sell stuff. There was this freezing chamber that you could try for a dollar. Apparently, the temperature inside read -11 degrees. Eunice really wanted to try it so that Hadley could come and keep her warm. So did JieJun but obviously WeiJia is smaller than him so she can't really protect him much.

And we saw this "art piece" called the Driftwood Ball and the price tag beside it wrote "Display Case $60,000". We thought the ball cost sixty thousand but SinYi thought the display case itself cost sixty thousand. Lol. Impossible, right? Anyway, there was this Driftwood horse, which was more than ten times the size of the ball, displayed at the entrance of the store and JieJun suggested that we play The Price Is Right and guess how much the horse was. WeiQi: $100,000 Eunice: $400,000 Me: $500,000 SinYi: $800,000 JieJun: $1,000,000 The actual price is: $9,000. We all got the shock of our lives and WeiQi won -.- Though it does make sense that they wouldn't put something so valuable there.

So we went to the Cinema and were staring at the board while Eunice was queueing. Poor thing. We saw Kah Ghim lol and JieJun's face practically lit up. Too bad it wasn't JunJie. Thankfully, ChinChye came and went to queue with her while the rest of us continued staring at the board. The stupid woman at the counter wouldn't let us watch Slumdog Millionaire because our birthdays haven't passed yet. WTF? I don't know how Shalyn managed to get in. Plus she watched it at Vivo too. Lucky her. We had to queue all over again because we had to discuss what movie to watch. In the end it was down to Chun Li or Dragonball T.T I voted for Dragonball because at least there's more fantasy. I'm not really into people just punching and kicking each other like Chun Li does. Lol.

The movie was okay I guess. The storyline was plain weird and Piccolo has a stupid mask. Goku was a really stupid person. When his grandfather died, he had a headache and reached for his temples. Instead of crying or something. Then, when his master died, he reached for his master's leg and buried his face in it -.- Instead of reaching for the face. Plus the actor didn't really act. I think he was just being himself.

After that we ended up at the open area at the top. Dang I'm really tired so I'll cut the whole thing short. We tried to take a group photo but we couldn't take it properly. Also, when we asked some man to help us take one, it was very blur -.- Then we gave up and went to buy LJS to eat at the open area and played truth or dare after that.

WeiQi trying to find treasure in JieJun's bag.

I had fun!

Dum Dee Dum.

My sister's in Manila now and I want to go watch a movie! Or rather, movies! Sadly, there's nobody to accompany me.

Friday
It's the second friday the thirteenth this year already O.O Clearly, it didn't get its name for nothing. Thankfully I wasn't late today. I've been clean (from latecoming, not drugs/alcohol/whatnot) for two weeks! Whoooo! But I still got reprimanded by Edmund Ng on Thursday when he saw me walking in at 7.25 (7.30 according to the stupid school clock, but I wasn't late). Dang, he knows my name because he called out my name from the foyer while I was at the walkway. Maybe when he called "Daniel" I should have looked at him and sang "That's not my name" and then run to my class -.-

Chinese in the morning is NEVER a good idea. WJP was talking some shit about argumentatives which I will never attempt in an examination because that's suicide for someone with a chinese standard like mine. Then she decided to give some lecture (again!) on something but I wasn't really paying attention and then she just walked out after saying her last sentence, as if she wanted to make some sort of impact/statement. The result was that the class started talking and I just laughed because whatever she said obviously doesn't work. Lol. Also, Joel, who didn't dare to interrupt her lesson, sacrificed fifteen minutes of his own just because of WJP. Stupid.

We got back progress reports WHOO I'm happy I'm just thankful that I didn't fall below 60%. And I realise I shouldn't be complaining because I'll just sound like whiny babies who get above 70% and say "No no I didn't do very well" and then people will feel like beating me up. So hurrah I'm satisfied. I honestly don't know what we did during Maths except I think it was quite relaxed. Then English was just a case of bad pronunciation because it was spelling again and we all know Elaine can't pronounce anything properly to save her life. Bless her poor soul/mouth.

I love Chemistry lessons nowadays because it's completely stress free and you can do pretty much anything you want to do. Okay that's not very good because I don't learn much but then a little relaxation is good. I went to the toilet and while I was walking back to the classroom I saw Wee Wee behind me and I picked up my pace because I didn't want to talk to him. Lol. But then he was suddenly beside me and he said, "So I expect you'll do better next term?" then I said "Huh?". He said "Common test?" and I said "Huh?" and walked away. Whoo.

The one thing I just couldn't stop complaining about was the stupid Chinese compostition thing. It's so unfair that they can just decide to cancel our lessons and force us to go for it. This is one time where I'm rooting for Literature lesson man. In the end, I wasted an hour listening to some crap that I wasn't even interested in! I was just playing hangman with JieJun and Hadley the whole time Lol.

After school was Library where we played Cluedo. Lol. I wonder what other game there is for us to play there. Okay after that I totally forgot anything else that happened except after Library I went down to the canteen and played some lame games -.- Then went home really late. I realise people don't like to talk to me because I'm apparently too serious/my face is too sian/my face is too black/I'm boring. Wow. How the hell am I supposed to change like that. I'm all for change now (WHOO go Barack! Even though I don't know what the hell he has done to save the world yet)

Should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements
Even if it leads nowhere?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EUNICE!!!! (yesterday)

It's been great knowing you and being your friend :D

Well, I haven't updated for the whole week already and I actually intended to do but then I saw something that really changed my mood. I honestly can't expect much anymore. Wow. I think it's amazing to see how childish some people can go, especially when you think you know the person. If you're upset with me, tell me. *I just had this random memory of a Korean song that goes "tell me tell me t-t-t-tell me" lol* It's not like I want to air dirty laundry, but I always think it's better to speak the truth. Even though I didn't do so much in the past but now I'm trying. But clearly, we're not on the same page on this. Anyway, I'll just grin and bear it.

I always say forgive and forget, forgive and forget.

Whoo Mockingbird. Lol I can't believe I'm quoting TKMB! Daniel what's gone into your head! For some reason I'm being sentimental and reading through past conversations in MSN and realising what retarded things I can say. Lol. I saw my conversation with SiewKiang so now I'm youtubing Vitas again and his music videos are damn creepy. Weirdo. But a weirdo with a really high-pitched voice, nonetheless.

I'm no longer caught in the middle.
Where are you?

I just remembered.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHINCHYE!! (two days ago)

You've joined the evil forces of people aged sixteen and above. Who try to gloat about the fact that they can watch NC16 movies (actually, this is aimed at Hadley). But anyway according to Shalyn (who watched Slumdog Millionaire), sometimes they'll only look at the year you were born in. I've been friends with you for the third year running! I'm not counting Sec 1 because I didn't even bother to talk to you then -.- Lol. But still, it's been great knowing you, chatting with you and bowling with you :D Just make sure you never beat my high score, yeah? ^.^

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH! (yesterday)

Da Lamer. You've come a long way, Sarah. Haha. I won't forget the more than interesting conversations you've had with Jess and I (O.O) and I know I haven't talked to you in awhile but know that you're a great friend yah.

6:22 PM

Jason Mraz is the bomb, yo.

Aaaaand that was my attempt at being cool. Anyway, he had his concert recently and I just felt like going on youtube to watch his live performances (again!) and still, I think he should have won Best Male Performance at the Grammys rather than John Mayer. Maybe they're just giving it to John Mayer because he's going out with Jen Aniston. Go Jen! Anyway, I do realise I haven't updated. I keep trying to find people who've updated and then run through in my mind what happened on thursday and friday but nobody posted specifically. So I'll just be brief yah?

Thursday.
I think history was quite a blur because the teacher sucks (duh!), he never uses the same textbook as us so what's the point in even bringing our textbooks? Oh and his stupid little recaps of the day's lesson. Wow. He doesn't even study History so why ruin our studies? Okay basically nothing significant happened that day and I'm just ranting.

Friday.
I actually thought that Jian Ping wasn't so bad today but then she totally changed my mind when I saw my combined score for Chinese. Irritating. Can't she make it sixty percent Common Test instead? I failed 49.7% @#&^%@^&%@$#^ Ask her to go to hell.

Oh I can't believe Joel actually let us push him around the whole lesson because he practically spent twenty minutes teaching and the rest of the time showing us youtube videos of really lame songs (JERALD THEY ARE NOT A SINGLE BIT CATCHY). And we got to catch a glimpse of his wedding photos. I'm quite freaked out now because I don't know if Joel just got married recently, and also because I used to think that he's 40+ but what if he turns out to be 30+? I'll be really freaked out then.

After school I had English Oral with Elaine and I kinda told her not to expect much from me because I wasn't in a really good mood after trying to process the fact that I failed my Chinese. She told me to go to Library first and then come back later -.- Over my dead body. Anyway turns out I was quite relaxed during the whole thing and got 33. Whoo but I've got to work on my picture discussion and conversation. And because I treated her more like a friend, she gave me stupid comments. Like, "Don't put your hands in front of your face" (Because I was playing with my hands LOL) and "Don't ask the examiner stupid questions". The second comment appeared because the first conversation question was "What is your favourite hairstyle?" and the second question was "What hairstyle would you like for yourself?". Then the third question was "What do you think of CCTVs in public places?" and I just went "But this question doesn't have any relevance to the first two questions!" (with me being a little agitated but I was joking also). Then she went "Tsk. You're not supposed to ask this kind of question." (with her very "tsk" face) and started to scribble something on her paper and I was like "Wait Wait Ms Chng okay I didn't mean that" (in a very panicked mode). But she still wrote it down anyway -.- Overall I had fun though, because it was very relaxed and Elaine was also okay to joke with. Imagine Oral Communication being fun. WAHAHAHAHA.

After that I went to Library and played Monopoly with GuoWei KahGhim and Charmaine. That's what I do at Library WOW. Then stoned for quite a long time in the canteen and went to Great World with JieJun. Bought like Double Chocolate and Iced Chocolate from McCafe and realised that both drinks actually taste the same. Never did trust McDonald's. JieJun was very into SS project while I was kind of stoning most of the time. Then when I was trying to take a picture of him near the escalators, Belinda Lee walked past right in front of my face and she was less than a metre from me -.- Then I told JieJun and he went a little ballistic and asked me if we could go get her autograph or something. Haha. She was with another woman whom I presume to be her assistant because she was carrying dresses. And a saleswoman was trying to promote skin products from the Dead Sea to Belinda but her assistant was desperately trying to drag her away. Funny. I've seen many Singaporean celebrities at Great World already -.-

Nothing really significant happened the rest of the day except for the fact that I got back all my common test papers. Well, for me only because I didn't sit for History.

Chinese - 22/50
English - 22/30
A Maths - 20/35
Physics - 30.5/45
Chemistry - 31/45
Literature - 64/100
Social Studies - 13/18

Do realise that I got the same marks for both languages but the difference in their total marks is 20 -.- Also, I don't have an A1. So if anyone dares to even say that I did okay, well I can't hit you or anything but still, I'd be quite pissed. Especially if you did better than me and you're saying that I did better. It's the same as saying that I'm dumber than you and it's already a great feat for me to get such scores. Thanks.

Oh my average is 63.6! Egad! I got an average above 60! *horrified* Well, my L1R5 is 19 if I count my SS as one subject. Oh god.

I miss my friend.

Wednesday, March 4, 2009

I can't believe I can't sleep now. Of all days, the day before road run -.- Because of the fact that in less than twelve hours I'm supposed to endure through a movie which wasn't really my first choice?! And the only people I have online now are Ms Yvonne Han. God. That woman who screwed up my entire first chapter of Chemistry. Plus a senior. This is sad.

Okay! I shall try to remember as much as I can about these two days. All I really know is that I spent quite a long amount of time just trying the games on Facebook (NO I DON'T HAVE A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT -.-) and watching really lame videos on Youtube. And music videos too. After Jerald's recommendation on nigahiga in Youtube, I somehow got around to linking all the top subscribed people and there's this fil-am girl called happyslip. You guys might not want to check her out but I was just watching because she was kind of making fun of her filipino heritage. Like, I know she doesn't mean it in a bad way (because my sister and I make fun of my mum's English all the time) but yeah, she's cool. And she made this video on her trip back to the Philippines where she traced back her dad's step by going back to his hometown. Which is basically near/at my hometown because I'm also Ilocano! Okay never mind. I just find it really nice. The only thing I want to say is why must they all look like models -.- Irritating. It's like all these most subscribed videos people are funny, good-looking people -.-

ANYWAY. I just realised I might need to proof read my posts now because my typing is horrendous. Okay digressing. Monday was weird. I couldn't sleep on Sunday so I ended up going to school real early and I was the second *insert shocked face* to reach. Aircon :D They got back E Maths and I'm always saying that I really regret not taking that paper. Physics was a total horror. I reciprocated by sleeping throughout the entire lesson while he was teaching so who knows, I might do badly for static electricity too.

Tuesday erm. Okay I kind of don't remember already. I think I didn't get back any paper so I felt really irritated and didn't have the mood to do anything else already. Okay I need to at least go and sleep or something.

Thoughts at this moment:

1. I'm trying to imagine what the undetonated bomb looks like because the one in Little Nyonya is shaped like an atomic bomb and I got a kick out of laughing at it

2. I blame the construction workers for not finding the bomb earlier and causing me to sit through Joy's entire lesson *rolls eyes* + Angela's wasted hour of crapping. Irritated.

3. Jerald is bringing like 40 muffins for the class. WAHAHAHAHAHAH. Wonder what he's doing? *hint*

4. JieJun is still insisting that it's easier for him to reach higher notes than lower notes when OBVIOUSLY it's easier to speak with a lower tone. He's a guy -.-

5. My life is boring. God.

8:34 PM

Monday, March 2, 2009

I'm not blogging as regularly anymore. Even though I'm online almost everyday -.-

So, Friday kind of sucked. Lit paper was total shit because I practically blew it on the second question and then Joy's going to be upset and all. Plus I find it very disturbing to have our paper with the Geog students because that means I have to see JieJun using probably five pieces of paper and then get very stressed at the fact that as a Lit student, I should be writing way more. Okay, maybe he only uses four. Though he says he didn't do well but you never know. I don't believe he can do badly in Geog. Come on, seriously -.-

And then after school, I don't know what was happening but all I know is that the classroom was dark. Oh yeah we got the aircon. Even though we didn't want it. Funny. Now the school probably thinks they did such a huge favour for us and we're indebted to them. For life. Oh and they have the remote and I was telling Jerald how this is a symbol of the control that they still have over us. That even though they installed airconditioning, they don't actually listen to our every whim and they still hold the power in the school. I'm telling you, Symbolism!

Well, after all that hoo ha there was only me, JieJun, WeiQi, Eunice and WeiJia left and we went to Jurong's Popular. We practically stoned at the books section because we were looking for good books I guess. And JieJun was saying that if he had a chance to grab anything he wants for free (like in those game shows), he would get the stationery. EVERYONE SCOLDED HIM. Obviously, we would all get the books because they're much more valuable. Oh WeiJia wants the CDs. I'm split between both. Which is still a much better choice than rushing to get stationery. Of all things. We were stuck at the Jodi Picoult section because WeiQi was quite into it. And we were choosing which looks to be our favourites. Lol.

Anyway, I know this is dumb but I think the Merlion being struck by lightning is fun. If only I were there, and I could take some parts of the debris, and then go home and take a picture of it and be like, "I'm holding a piece of the merlion!" *points to debris in hand* Yeah, I'm lame.

IT KEEPS RAINING EVERYDAY. I'm damn irritated by this because just now in the afternoon, it suddenly poured like blue whales and elephants, and I had to rush to bring in the clothes. And then a few minutes later, the rain stopped -.- I wanted to hit somebody. Oh wait, it doesn't stop here. Apparently someone up there is playing with us because it started to rain again and there was lightning and thunder and I swear the thunder sounded like some creepy amplified burp. For no reason whatsoever. What is up with the weather? I swear we're all dying. Soon. Well, I never intended to last until 'O's anyway.

OH. I finally sewed up that gaping hole -.- in my bag. With blue thread and my bag's black. Wow. I pricked my fingers like, many times and I ended up with two bloody fingers. And a very sore thumb because I accidentally pricked the part between the nail and the skin. I sound and feel like an idiot. And a klutz. I was supposed to go for a blood test on Saturday but there was a conflict of interest because my mother doesn't believe in the doctor. I still feel like I'm going to drop dead any moment. I'm serious.

Anyway, I'm very into James Morrison and Jason Mraz these days. I never realised their music was this incredible. Plus I keep watching old American Idol episodes because there're great songs on that show. And JieJun wants me to sing songs on American Idol for him cause he can't remember how they sound like -.-

Lol.
